Ansari Rehabilitation Association for Afghanistan (ARAA) has been successfully in business since 1992, serving the people of Afghanistan through its operation in sectors of prequalification of procurement, partnership of project implementation in the sectors of protection, emergency, reintegration, education, agriculture, rehabilitation of irrigation, construction, water and sanitation, infrastructures and social activities in western region of Afghanistan.
During these years, ARAA has accumulated considerable institutional experience and capabilities to enable it deliver expertise and services to community, with efficiency, sustainability, and quality assurance.
ARAA NGO is Non-Governmental, nonpolitical and impartial aid organization with Legal independent, identity established in 1992 and registered via ministry of economy.
ARAA organization by financial support and assistance from UN, government or international Aid organizations, will achieve its activities without any racial, national, direction and language bigotries all around the country where the work opportunity is provided.
ARAA has been established to provide humanitarian supports, based on the principles of human
rights, Islamic and cultural values of our country, and environmental and socio economic sustainability to the vulnerable people of Afghanistan, focused on the vulnerable population of
West/northwestern regions.
The organization seeks the opportunities to develop programs and projects to contribute in community’s relief, rehabilitation and development of the country.
ARAA believes that without women’s active participation as the main vulnerable group of people in this country, development and humanitarian relief goals cannot be achieved.

Implementation of more than 216 projects/programs I.e. protection, Emergency, Humanitarian, Community Development, Irrigation, Agriculture Animal Husbandry, Education, Construction and Rehabilitation.
22 Years of reintegration and protection services and sustainable presence in Afghanistan mostly in WR Sector expertise, 12 Years of direct working with UN and ongoing project fund near 700,000US$ in 2014-2015.
Cooperation with civil society and presences in UN lead cluster meetings: Protection, FSAC, IPC, NFI/Shelter, Wash, CPiE , HLP, IDP TF.
Protection background, membership of UN clusters (Protection, Wash, HLP, Shelter/NFI, FSAC, CPiE) and active presence, current partnership & professionalism in UN operational cooperating context.
Local knowledge of the area, around one decade of solid expertise in carry out the work effectively and efficiently in west region.
Experience and long presence in western region and history of cooperating with WFP, Agriculture, RRD,and water management department (see below awarded certificates).
Rapid response in mobilizing resources for funded projects; we have field offices in Ghor and Badghis, Herat. Enough information about the needs in the ground and very good relation with official authorities, Provincial council, Provincial governor, district governors in all districts of Herat, Badghis and Ghor.
