About Us

About OCCD:

Organization for Community Coordination and Development (OCCD) established and registered with Ministry of Economy in 2013, is a non-profit, non-governmental, non-political and independent organization. OCCD works in partnership with Government, development and implementing partners in Health, Education, Agriculture and Livestock, Research and Development

Organization Community Coordination (OCCD)  works To serve individuals and families in communities to build the capacity of human resources in real sense that enable communities and civilians to have vibrant, advanced, developed and self-esteemed societies.

Improving Access to Primary Health Care Services with Special Focus on Maternal and Child Health amongst People Living in Hard-to-Reach Areas

The overall goal and objective of this project are, to reduce morbidity and mortality among the vulnerable population with the particular focus…

The overall goal and objective of this project are, to reduce morbidity and mortality among the vulnerable population with the particular focus on pregnant and lactating women and children under 5 and improve access to PHC services of population living in hard-to-reach areas in selected districts of Badakhshan, Takhar, Kunduz and Baghlan provinces through 18 BHCs, 13SHCs and three MHTs and provide referral service for emergency and trauma cease using the MHT

(Organization Community Coordination (OCCD)Under this project OCCD provides maternal and new-born health, child health, immunization, nutrition, communicable and non-communicable diseases treatment, mental health, basic trauma care and health promotion services.

Under this project OCCD supports establishment of 430 new CBE (350 CBS and 80 ALC) classes as well as continuation of 251 existing CBS classes in the in 12 districts and the city of Kandahar. Totally 22,703 (11,079 Grills/11624 Boys) school age children affected by shocks will access to quality basic education.

Organization Community Coordination (OCCD): The project provides quality basic education for 681 children with disabilities, 454 returnees, 1135 IDPs and 2270 host population. Furthermore, 681 teachers recruit and will be trained on standard teacher training manual including PSS and 2430 community members will sensitise on the importance of education in emergency. The project funded by UNICEF and implements by OCCD.
